MCTEU funded training requests related to mining, which included heavy equipment operator, AZ/DZ licensing, diamond drillers common core programs, process plant operator, and much more. Many of the skills in these types of training are transferable that can take clients anywhere. Employment opportunities exist regionally in the mining field.
MCTEU provided funding to individuals as well as in partnership with local organizations for training opportunities related to business, administration, and/or finance. Skills and knowledge in these areas are often transferable to other sectors.
